Talbot had been mashing the UP button on the elevator when Billy broke through the glass. His brother’s bloody form landed less than twenty feet away from him.

“Oh God, no, Billy!”

Price was dead, as his skull had shattered on impact.

“Son of a bitch,” Healy whispered, as he looked up at Caleb, who was peering down at them from the edge of the spot where Billy had fallen. “I know that face… that’s Tanner’s brother.”

Talbot grabbed the gun from Healy’s hand and began firing up at Caleb. His shots buried themselves in the ceiling, as Caleb had stepped backwards. When the gun was empty, Healy grabbed his boss and shook him.

“We have to leave. Your damn wife might still be alive and calling for help, or worse yet, Tanner could be on his way here.”

Talbot stared over at his brother. “Billy… oh, Billy.”

Healy pulled his boss along by the sleeve as he headed for the exit.
